A directing duo. Whilst they put their minds together when the idea is hatching, usually only one will take over the reins during the production process. They’ve been in the advertising industry for a dozen years or so, starting off as a creative team for the chain agency DMB&B. Karolina is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, while Tomek studied at the Directing Department in Łódź.
For many years they made campaigns for international brands, telecoms, banks, food and even managed to do a stint for the Polish government! For the last decade they’ve been working as a team of directors and can boast a number of awards in creative contests, both as brains behind the idea and filmmakers.
As Lewicka&Kapuściński they make a point of getting involved in social campaigns, e.g. Serduszko PZU (PZU Heart), Najbliżsi obcy (Closest Strangers) for popieramzwiazki.pl, Dzień uchodźcy (Refugee Day), Fundacja Itaka.
Their portfolio is bursting with films for household names such as Nivea, Orbit, Tyskie beer, MBank, Getin Bank, McDonald’s, PZU, Saturn, Heyah, Deichmann and many more.
